49 Chambers Street

Standing 15 stories high above the vivacity and vibe of New York City, 49 Chambers is a conversion of the pre-war era structure, featuring one-to-three bedrooms in a Beaux Arts conversion adjacent to City Hall Park.

The arched detailing of the exterior silhouettes against its alabaster light fixtures and this modern canopy with the historic touch stands in a collection of condominiums, clad in statuary bronze. The building offers Hickory floors, stunning and bold sculptural rooftop and breathtaking views of lower Manhattan from the landscaped roof deck with trellis dining area- balustrades.

Concourse amenities include a lobby, bicycle storage, screening room, fitness center, the Chamber's pool with translucent glass walls and a domed ceiling, yoga/ dance studio and a children's playroom. Additional features include a doorman, spa and steam room, and a media room, ensuring a highly-luxurious and facilitated cocoon featuring contemporary living in a remarkably neighborhood.

CITY REALTY ARTICLE

This impressive and luxurious, 15-story, Beaux Arts-style former office building at 49 Chambers Street across from the very handsome Tweed Court House in City Hall Park was converted to 99 condominium apartments in 2018.

It was the former home of the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank and was designed in 1912 by Raymond F. Almirall.

The developer of the conversion was the Chetrit Group.

Woods Bagot was the architect for the conversion and Gabellini Sheppard Associates did the interior design.
